Make these to ready to bake stage, pop them in the fridge or freezer and then just pop them in the oven whenever you need them! Simple, impressive and blooming tasty! I did these for a cookery demo a few weeks back and they were super popular ☺️
Sausage, Brie and Cranberry Puffs
Grab:
1 onion
6 sausages (skin removed)
Tablespoon of fresh sage
1 packet of Brie, cut into slices
1 packet of Puff pastry
100g Cranberry Sauce
Salt and pepper
How to?
Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan. Dice the onion and fry the onion off until soft and translucent.
Add into a large bowl add the sausage meat, onions & fresh sage, grind of salt and pepper. Mix well.
Spray a shallow bun tin with baking release spray or brush it with some melted butter/oil. Cut the puff pastry sheet into 12 and place into the wells of the tray.
Into each well, add a small bit of sausage meat, top with some cranberry sauce, and brie.
Fold the corners of the pasty into the middle and brush the top with some milk.
Bake at 180oC for 20 minutes until golden brown.
